By accessing or using the services provided by HOSTARON LTD, you (“Customer”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“ToS”), along with all incorporated policies. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

This document is designed to provide clear legal guidance and practical rules of service, ensuring compliance with UK legislation including the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Electronic Communications Regulations 2003.


1. Definitions

  • Account – The registered profile created by you to access Hostaron services.
  • Services – Domain registration, web hosting, cloud hosting, reseller hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, and other related services.
  • Customer Content – Any files, data, or material uploaded, stored, or transmitted through our services.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old to register.
  • You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

  • Web Hosting
  • Cloud Hosting
  • Reseller Hosting
  • VPS Hosting
  • Dedicated Servers

Service Commitment: We aim to maintain 99.9% uptime and provide 24/7 support. Planned maintenance or circumstances beyond our reasonable control may cause downtime. Customers should maintain regular local backups for data security.


4. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

You must not use our services for unlawful or abusive purposes. Prohibited activities include:

  • Sending spam, phishing, or malicious communications.
  • Hosting or distributing malware, viruses, or harmful software.
  • Using more than 10% of system resources for longer than 60 seconds.
  • Running daemons, IRC/chat clients, gaming servers, or file-sharing applications.
  • Cron jobs set at intervals shorter than 15 minutes.

Backups: Customers may create backups via the control panel (retained for 7 days). It is the customer’s responsibility to store backups locally.


5. Billing & Payment

  • Currency: All payments are processed in GBP (£).
  • Billing Cycles: Monthly, annually, or as specified at purchase.

Late Payments:

  • Web/Cloud/Reseller Hosting – Suspended after 4 days, late fees after 7 days, terminated after 30 days. (A £15 reinstatement fee applies if you wish to restore backups from a suspended or terminated account.).
  • VPS – Suspended after 4 days, terminated after 7 days.
  • Dedicated Servers – Suspended immediately when overdue; terminated after 1 day.

Domains: Domains cannot be refunded or modified. Deletion within 24 hours may be permitted under the Add Grace Period (AGP) with a £2 fee.


6. Discounts & Coupons

  • Only one coupon per transaction.
  • Excess coupon value is forfeited.
  • Coupons are limited to one per customer.
  • Customers are responsible for checking order totals and voucher terms.

7. Affiliate Programme

  • Affiliate links must not be altered or disguised.
  • You must own a valid website or social media channel.
  • Direct purchases without referral tracking will not generate commissions.
  • Spamming or unauthorised advertising is prohibited.

8. Content Responsibility

  • You are solely responsible for all hosted content.
  • You must comply with UK copyright and data protection laws.
  • Hostaron is not liable for illegal or harmful content hosted by customers.
  • Content unsuitable for minors must be restricted appropriately.

9. Service Level Agreement (SLA)

  • If uptime falls below 99.9%, you may request one free month of service (claim within 7 days).
  • Planned maintenance is excluded from SLA calculations.
  • Dedicated servers do not carry an uptime guarantee.

10. Refund Policy

  • Refunds may be requested within 30 days if service is unsatisfactory.
  • Non-refundable items: Domains, SSL certificates, VPS, dedicated servers, setup fees, and promotional accounts.
  • Excess payments may be credited but not refunded in cash.
  • Accounts terminated for ToS violations are non-refundable.

11. Termination & Suspension

  • Hostaron may suspend or terminate your account for non-payment, ToS violations, or illegal activity.
  • Upon termination, all data may be deleted. Customers should maintain local backups.

12. Dispute Resolution

  • Disputes must first be raised with Hostaron support.
  • If unresolved, disputes will be resolved via binding arbitration under the Arbitration Act 1996.
  • Legal disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Limitation of Liability

  • Services are provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted operation.
  • Hostaron’s liability is limited to the total amount you have paid in the last 12 months.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hostaron, its employees, and affiliates against claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of services, breach of ToS, or hosted content.

15. Changes to Terms

Hostaron reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or our website. Continued use of services indicates acceptance of updated terms.

16. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved by arbitration or through UK courts, as applicable.
